Contraindications

IV therapy may not be suitable if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Congestive heart failure - Fluid overload risk
  • Severe kidney disease - Impaired fluid/electrolyte handling
  • Allergy to ingredients - Must disclose all allergies
  • Pregnancy - Some treatments not recommended (consult first)
  • Active infections - At the IV insertion site
  • Certain medications - May interact with IV ingredients
  • G6PD deficiency - Incompatible with high-dose vitamin C infusions
  • Iron overload conditions (hemochromatosis) - Vitamin C may worsen iron accumulation
  • Uncontrolled hypertension - Large fluid volumes require clinical assessment

Always inform us of all medical conditions and medications during your intake. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, high fever, or signs of serious illness, please seek emergency medical care.

Possible Side Effects

Side effects are generally mild and temporary:

Common (Mild)

  • • Cool sensation during infusion
  • • Slight bruising at injection site
  • • Metallic taste in mouth
  • • Increased urination
  • • Mild flushing

Less Common

  • • Headache
  • • Nausea (especially with NAD+)
  • • Chest tightness (with NAD+)
  • • Lightheadedness
  • • Local irritation

Note: Serious adverse reactions are extremely rare when treatments are administered by trained professionals. Our staff is trained to manage any complications that may arise.

Eligibility Criteria

IV therapy is generally safe for healthy adults. Before treatment, we verify:

  • Age 18+ (minors require parental consent)
  • No contraindicated medical conditions
  • No known allergies to treatment ingredients
  • Informed consent obtained
  • Complete health intake form

Before Your Visit

  • ✓ Eat a light meal 1-2 hours before your appointment
  • ✓ Stay hydrated before arrival
  • ✓ Bring a list of current medications and supplements
  • ✓ Inform us of any allergies or medical conditions
  • ✓ Wear comfortable clothing with easy arm access
